Centre Stage, Exmouth is presenting 'Shrek the Musical' this April at Exmouth Pavilion.
The famous green ogre, Shrek, takes the Exmouth Pavilion stage from April 18 through to April 22 for six performances of Shrek the Musical.
Joseph Lewis stars as Shrek, while Abbey Jobson returns from the cast of "The Addams Family" to star as Princess Fiona. Also returning in lead roles are Toby Hill as Donkey, Tovey Austin as Lord Farquaad and Zoe Nicholas as the Dragon.
They are joined on stage by a cast of more than thirty to play a who's who of fairy tale favourites including Pinocchio, Captain Hook, Peter Pan, the three little pigs, Tinkerbell and so many more.
Based on the DreamWorks Animation film, "Shrek The Musical" is an award-winning fairy tale adventure featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori ("Thoroughly Modern Millie") and a hilarious book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage, and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears. "Shrek" is based on the motion picture and the book by William Steig.
This Centre Stage production is directed by Sue Bonnett and Musical Director, Joseph Binmore and is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
