Steeples, Arthur MBE, Poppa peacefully passed away at his home on March 9th, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband to Cherry for 68 years (and one day), Poppa is survived by two children and four grandchildren. His passing leaves us full of sorrow, but bursting with pride and happy memories of our time with him. Poppa lived an extraordinary life, full of adventure and achievement. We will think of him with love and gratitude every day. Funeral service to take place in the East Devon Crematorium on Monday 21st March at 3.15pm. Please wear cheerful colours (no black). No flowers please but donations to Mercy Ships, a charity close to his heart, may be given by retiring collection or cheque sent c/o Palmers Funeral Service, 45 High St, Budleigh Salterton EX9 6LE
