Stace, Burges died peacefully at home on 12th August 2015. Greatly loved husband to Jenny, father of Matthew and father-in-law to Adele, grand father to Alex, brother to Stella and Daphne. Loyal friend to all who knew him in the South East, Canada and East Devon. Enthusiastic member and supporter of the Budleigh Salterton Games Club (bowls section) where he made many friends. Award winning gardener of 35 years, Burge was a true lover of nature. We will all miss him deeply. The funeral service, as a celebration of life is to take place in the Salem Chapel, East Budleigh at 10.30am on Thursday 27th August, followed by an interment at Higher Ground Meadow, Corscombe DT2 0QN, all are welcome to attend, if able. A donation in Burges’ memory, if desired, may be by retiring collection or cheque to Budleigh Salterton and District Hospiscare may be sent c/o Palmers Funeral Service, 45 High St, Budleigh Salterton, East Devon EX9 6LE
