HOARE - Harry Clifford (Cliff). Former soldier, POW and long serving member of Crete Veterans Association. Born 11th December 1917, passed away aged 96 years on Thursday 6th November at Amberwood Nursing Home. Husband to the late Edna, father to Muriel, Alan and John, father-in-law to Wendy, Gerry and Vickie, grandfather to Jenny, Emily, Stephanie and Natalie, great-grandfather to James and Alice. Sincere thanks to staff at Amberwood Nursing Home and Manor Lodge Residential Care Home. Funeral service, 17th November at Exeter & Devon Crematorium, 11.15am, St. Pauls Chapel. Family flowers only but donations may be sent in memory or by retiring collection to Royal British Legion, Poppy Appeal or Crews & Son, Crews House, Tower Street, Exmouth, EX8 1NT.
