ROGERS "Lion" (Derek Samuel) 11.06.1918 - 07.08.2014 Lion peacefully fell asleep on August 7th with his much loved wife Agnes by his side. Loved and treasured dad of Helen. Loving and much loved gramps of Corinna, Lisa and James. Proud and loving great grampsy of Benji, MeMe, Esme, Ro Ro, Sammy and Eloisa. A truly wonderful man who lived for his family and will live forever in our hearts. Funeral Service will take place at East Devon Crematorium, Whimple on Tuesday August 26th at 11.30am. Followed by a Service on Budleigh Salterton Beach (Fishermans End) at 1.00pm to remember Lion and the Rogers brothers. End of an Era. Floral tributes or donations in his memory for Water Aid and Shipwrecked Mariners Society may be sent to Richard W. Gegg and Sons, Funeral Directors, 47, Rolle Street, Exmouth EX8 2RS.
