A new charter boat company was launched in Exmouth at the weekend.
After nearly a year of planning, Exe Voyages’ 10-meter orange and black rigid inflatable boat (RIB) – ‘Voyager’ - took to the open seas on her first Voyage.
The RIB will provide coastal voyages, offering the opportunity for thrill-seeking passengers to discover Devon’s coastlines, catching a glimpse of tucked-away coves and marine wildlife.
At the helm will be Skipper Jim, who said: “It has been really exciting to plan this venture and I’m looking forward to getting out on the water to discover the changing scenery and to share the smiles on people’s faces.
“It’s been a tough year for everyone, and we all need a bit of fun and adventure back in our lives.”
Exe Voyages use an 11-seater boat which is available for private hire and they run scheduled voyages towards Budleigh Salterton, and then voyages South of Exmouth towards Dawlish, Teignmouth and Babbacome bay.
