With the continued relaxation of the Covid-19 lockdown, Budleigh Salterton’s short-hire beach huts are again available.
The town’s tourist information centre (TIC) has re-opened its doors and is inviting people who want a beach hut on a per-week basis from Saturday (May 15) through to October.
Helen Warren, trustee of the TIC, said: “We now have 12 huts available for hire this season...their availability is a huge asset to local businesses particularly on or near the beach and a major attraction for holidaymakers and locals who are not on the waiting list.
“Their rental also provides a vital source of revenue for the self-funded tourist information centre.”
There are five large huts available for £92 per week and seven small huts available for £83 per week, located at a mid-point on the beach near the longboat cafe.
Lettings are from 3pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday.
Anyone interested in taking a booking should contact the TIC by ringing 01395 445275 or email info@visitbudleigh.com
