The Budleigh Salterton Fine Arts Society are holding new meetings this September.
Join them at their base at the Budleigh Public Hall on Wednesday, September 28, where they will be discussing Clare Ford-Wille 'Merry Making and Morality' .
At the next meeting, in October, Janusz Karczewsky- Solwikowsky will discuss The history of the Chair from Ancient to Modern.
A spokesman for the group said: “Our purpose is to inform about, as well as to cultivate an appreciation of, the arts. We will also involve and educate young people in the world of the arts through ‘Young Arts’ initiatives.
“The Society’s focus is its programme of nine lectures, held monthly on a Wednesday evening throughout the winter. Lectures cover a wide range of arts related subjects and will be given by eminent experts. Please also see the programme page for further information.
“Besides this, The Arts Society, Budleigh Salterton will organise visits to sites of historical and artistic interest as well as discovery days on arts related subjects.”
