Exmouth’s Town Crier visited Sidmouth on Saturday, September 10 to promote the Artbeat exhibition and sale at Kennaway House.
Three Exmouth artists have work featured in the exhibition: Zan Nye, Jane Williams and Jan Shayler.
Town crier Roger Bourgein met some of the artists at Kennaway House and was then escorted around Sidmouth by one of the exhibitors, June Murrell.
Fellow exhibitor Susan Paradise said: “Both June and Roger did a splendid job in town and along the seafront, with so many people taking the opportunity of having a photo-call with Roger!”
Artbeat, now in its 10th year, is at Kennaway House until Friday, September 16, and admission is free. A total of 11 artists are exhibiting and selling their work, and there are also cards, prints and gifts for sale.
The other artists are Bente Kumar, Debbie Coles, Di Briggs, Laura Boyd, Stephanie George and David Hughes.
