Exmouth Museum and Heritage Centre will be closing for the winter on Saturday, October 29.
The museum will be open until 1pm on that day before shutting its doors until Monday, April 2, 2023.
During the winter closure, a lot of work will be carried out at the museum, both internally and externally, to improve the visitor experience next year.
The next few days are the last chance for visitors to see some of the exhibits and displays, as the museum will be showing various new ones in 2023.
It is also an opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping, as the museum has a range of branded merchandise, ranging from badges, pens and pencils to mugs depicting museum exhibits, painted by Michael Buckland.
The 2022 season has been hailed a great success, with new exhibits on show and special events including Armed Forces Day in June, in which the museum joined forces with the Commando Training Centre in Lympstone.
