Raleigh Manor care home in Exmouth has been rated 'good' at Care Quality Commission inspection.
Inspectors praised staff for a responsive, safe, effective, caring and well-led service. The home was rated as 'Good' across every category.
The CQC inspected the home in October (the report was released on December 21 and rated the home, run by Barchester Healthcare, as 'Good' overall.
The report stated that Staff in all roles were passionate about the people living at Raleigh Manor and were highly committed to ensuring the best outcomes for them. They took time to understand and encourage the unique and individual needs of the people they supported and enabled them to play an active role in their home and community.
The report went on to say “We observed warm and familiar caring interactions between staff and people throughout the duration of our inspection."
Also highlighted in the report was that “People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible.”
In celebration of the rating and to thank each member of the team for their contributions to the home, each team member was presented with £100 gift voucher in appreciation of their hard work.
