A teenager from Budleigh Salterton is hoping to be crowned Miss Teen Galaxy GB this March.
Olivia Davis placed top five in the Miss Teen GB award ceremony last October.
She has now earned a place in the grand finals for the Miss Teen Galaxy UK finals, which are to be held at Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel on March 25.
This is very exciting as the winner will then attend the international finals in Orlando, Florida, this August as Miss Teen Galaxy UK.
As Miss Teen Devon Galaxy, Olivia has been raising funds for The Christie Cancer Charity and has also been involved in the 56 Miles Challenge, bringing awareness to Cancer Research UK.
The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Gifts from the public make a huge difference to the care and treatment that The Christie is able to provide to patients and families.
Olivia Davis told the Journal: "I'm so excited to be back in pageant land in just five weeks and back on stage after what feels like forever!
"I can't wait to see all the girls again, to make more amazing memories and to hopefully come home with the crown."
The Galaxy UK Pageant is a fun filled event and the grand final is all about making new friends, new memories and having the most amazing time! This UK pageant will select five new winners who will travel to Orlando, Florida to compete in the Galaxy International Pageants with flights, accommodation and entry fee fully covered.
Organisers say that 'being a part of our organisation is about celebrating and empowering women, we recognise that all women are beautiful and one of the most fantastic qualities is when a girl is unapologetically herself. The Pageant Girl® motto is ‘Beautifully Inspiring.’
Five winners will be crowned on the night: Junior Miss Galaxy UK Ages 11-14yrs, Miss Teen Galaxy-UK Ages 15-18yrs, Miss Galaxy-UK Ages 19-27yrs, Ms Galaxy UK Ages 28+ unmarried and Mrs Galaxy UK.
