The nominees have been announced for the NODA South West amateur dramatics awards 2022.
Nominations are given across East Devon by the National Operatic and Dramatic Association, (NODA) South West who have a number of awards that are presented annually to celebrate the many achievements the local amatuer dramatic groups.
Awarded the Cerficate of Excellence for recognition of original writing of new dramatic work is the Salterton Drama Club production of 'Going Off Ken Elvy' and Axminister Drama Club's production of 'Because of Love' directed by Andrew Coley.

NODA South West Award for ‘THE SHOW MUST GO ON’ is the Exmouth Players production of The Railway Children.
Nominated for the PETER WHEELDON MEMORIAL TROPHY A COMPANY CRAFTED PRODUCTION is the Lympstone Players A Christmas Carol

NODA is the national body that represents amateur theatre. Any amateur theatre society can become a member of NODA.
The membership continues with over 2,000 society members and over 1,000 individual enthusiasts staging musicals, operas, plays, concerts and pantomimes in venues ranging from the country’s leading professional theatres to village halls.
