Exmouth Rotary Club is inviting nominations for its Citizen of the Year award, recognising someone who has given ‘exceptional service to the community’.
Local residents are being asked to tell the Rotary Club in a maximum of 200 words about someone who deserves to be honoured in the spirit of the Rotary motto, ‘Service Above Self’.
President David Clout said: “The club wishes to recognise someone who is worthy of this award through the service they give to our local community. I look forward to seeing nominations and later presenting the award at the Club’s President’s Evening in late June.
“The last time the Citizen of the Year was awarded it recognised the enormous contribution of the Exmouth Food Bank. Who deserves the award in 2023?”
Nominations should be sent to exmouthrotary@outlook.com by Monday, May 1. Please provide your own contact details and those of the person you are nominating.
