A hazard warning that was issued to mariners near Exmouth on Sunday has now been lifted.
The Exeter Port Authority put out a warning notice to mariners after a yacht lost its mast overboard, south east of the Exe Safe Water Mark, at about 2pm on July 2.
The skipper cut the mast and rigging free of the boat and set them adrift with an orange buoy attached.
Mariners were advised to navigate with caution in the area where the mast was lost.
At about 9am today (Tuesday, July 4) the Exeter Port Authority advised that the hazard had now been removed, and cancelled the Local Notice to Mariners.
