In 1995, to celebrate the 50th VE&VJ Anniversary in 1995, Exmouth British Legion erected eight flag poles around the Clock Tower on Exmouth Seafront.
In the same year, it was agreed that Exmouth Rotary Club would hold a concert at Exmouth Pavilion for 'Last Night of the Proms'. Exmouth Rotary brought together the local Town Band and Operatic Society and 'Proms' Concerts was created. After the success of the first VE day concert, another for victory over Japan and to finally purchase the flag poles, a further concert was arranged for Christmas that year.
This year, The Exmouth Rotary is now organising the 34th Proms Charity Concerts at Exmouth Pavilion having raised over the years some £90,000 for local needy and Internation Rotary Charities. Concerts at Exmouth Pavilion and Exeter Cathedral. Six local Bands, including Band of RM Lympstone and five local choirs in that time.
Exmouth Rotary have organised a Last Night of the Proms concert at Exmouth Pavillion on Thursday, September 14, with SWComms Band together with Exmouth's Centre Stage bringing a great night of music and song -' Britannica be there.

The event is supporting Exmouth Open Door and Pete's Dragons. Also collection for Uranian Appeal.
