Salterton Drama Club returns to the stage with another original production from its own award-winning writer and director, Ken Elvy.
Checking Out is the comedy sequel to last year’s production of Going Off, featuring some of the same characters along with a few new ones.
In Checking Out, the newlywed Mr and Mrs Stave take a break from undertaking to have a honeymoon in Sidmouth. But on arrival at the Jurassic House Bed & Breakfast, they bump into another couple, MoMo and Obi.
The couples then get caught up in a series of unfortunate events involving a wheelchair, a pest control van, and more innuendo than you can shake a stick at.
Checking Out opens on Monday, September 4 with evening performances through to Friday, September 9 and a matinee on Saturday 10.
Tickets are £14 and are available from www.saltertondrama.co.uk or via Budleigh Information Centre 01395 445 275.
