Fire crews from Exeter and Exmouth fight a small kitchen fire at a property in St Andrews Road in Exmouth today, (September 5),
Fire Control mobilised two crews, one from Exmouth Fire Station and the other from Middlemoor Station in Exeter following reports of smoke coming from a house in Exmouth at around 11 am on Tuesday.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Middlemoor appliance got in attendance first and stood down on-coming appliances. They confirmed that this as a small fire involving cooking in the oven in a ground-floor flat. They used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke out of the property."
The cause of fire is believed to be accidental.
