It is now over 60 years since Exmouth Grammar School became Exmouth Community College amalgamating the Grammar School with the Boys and Girls Secondary Modern Schools.
A final reunion will take place at The Royal Beacon Hotel from 7pm for 7.30pm on Friday, October 6.
Organiser of the event Diedre Jennings told the Journal: "Since the merger, Grammar School reunions have been held annually and been well attended and much enjoyed with copious reminiscences.
"Inevitably the numbers still eligible and able to attend has declined. Thus it has been decide to make this year’s reunion the last one. So this is your last chance to join up with old friends."
A buffet supper will be provided at the subsidized cost of £7. To confirm attendance please get in touch with elaine@the bagnalls.co.uk or deirdre.jennings@talktalk.net. I hope you can join us.
