TWO people were rescued from fire crews after a two-vehicle collision in Exmouth.
The collision took place last night (Friday, October 6) on Summer Lane, and two occupants were trapped in a vehicle.
They were rescued by the fire crews and left in the hands of paramedics “with minor injuries”.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Two fire appliances from Exmouth were mobilised to Summer Lane in Exmouth, following a call from the police requesting our assistance in a two-vehicle road traffic collision, involving two cars, where one of the vehicles rolled coming to rest on its side, trapping two occupants.
“Crews were on scene within minutes and set to work stabilising the vehicles before planning the extrication of both casualties.
“They were released from the vehicle with minor injuries and the incident was brought under control at 9.45pm.
“The casualties were left in the hands of ambulance paramedics and the incident was left in the hands of the police, once our crews made both the vehicles and scene safe.”
