National Highways network have announced what roads will close over the next fortnight to allow roadworks to take place.
One of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
• M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.
And a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A30, from 8pm October 9 to 6am October 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Moor Lane, Exeter to Daisymount, Ottery St Mary carriageway closure and M5 both directions, junction 29 exit and entry slip road closures for maintenance works, diversions via:, Motorway traffic M5, junction 30, A3052, B3180, Non-Motorway traffic A3015,A379, A3052,B3180.
• A30, from 8pm October 11 to 6am October 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Daisymount to Turks Head, Honiton carriageway closure for maintenance works. Diversion via B3180, A3052, A375.
• A30, from 8pm October 13 to 6am October 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A30 both directions Langford, junction carriageway closure for maintenance. Diversion via A35.
• A30, from 7pm October 20 to 6am October 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions - Rawridge. Multi-way signals for horticulture works.
• M5, from 8pm October 23 to 6am October 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 29 lane closure for drainage surveys.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
