National Highways are planning four road closures in East Devon this week, (week commencing, Monday, October 16).
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A30, from 7pm October 20 to 6am October 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions - Rawridge. Multi-way signals for horticulture works.
• M5, from 8pm October 23 to 6am October 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 29 lane closure for drainage surveys.
• A30, from 6am to 2pm on October 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 Daisymount to Turks Head, Honiton use network for diversion route.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
