Salterton Drama Club return to the stage in December with the twisty psychological thriller Wait Until Dark.
Chairman Penny Hill returns to the director’s seat for the well-known play by Frederick Knott, performed by a talented cast featuring familiar faces and some new members.
The play is a classic thriller made famous by the 1967 film adaptation starring Audrey Hepburn. A recently blinded woman is terrorised by a trio of thugs as they search for a heroin-stuffed doll they believe is in her apartment.
Knife-cutting tension builds up as she engages in a battle of wits with the villains.
Wait Until Dark opens on Monday, December 4, with nightly performances at 7.30pm until Friday 8, and a final matinee performance at 2:30pm on Saturday, December 9.
Tickets are £14 and available from www.saltertondrama.co.uk or Budleigh Information Centre 01395 445275.
