Centre Stage will present its Christmas concert at Exmouth Pavilion on Sunday, December 17.
Step Into Christmas features a feast of popular Christmas songs and the two performances, at 2.30pm and 7.30pm, will be raising money for the Christmas Jumper Appeal and Exmouth in Need. Audience members are invited to come along in a festive jumper or Christmas fancy dress.
Prior to that, Centre Stage will be taking part in the Winter Festival on Saturday, December 2. They will be singing at 7pm, just before the Christmas Tree lights are switched on at 7.30pm. They are also inviting people to take part in their charity Firewalk which will be taking place in the Strand from 5pm. Centre Stage’s last performance was Anything Goes, which ran at the Pavilion from Tuesday, October 31 until Saturday, November 4. The company said it was ‘delighted’ with the response from audiences throughout the week, and sends its thanks to all the supporters, advertisers, cast, crew and volunteers involved in making ‘a very special production’.
The group will find out this weekend whether it has won a Rosebowl award for its 2022 production of The Addams Family. The show is nominated for Best Youth Production in the South West, and leading man Joseph Lewis is nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of Gomez Addams. Centre Stage will be attending the awards ceremony in Bristol on Sunday, November 26.
