Temporary traffic lights have been installed on Exeter Road, as South West engineers carry out emergency repairs underground.

Lights are in place both ways on Exetyer Road, northbound outside The Park pub southbound, and Krispies Fish and Chips southbound, to allow engineers to work on water pipes underground.

A South West Water spokesperson said: “We carried out a repair on Exeter Road in Exmouth yesterday which led to an unexpected issue. This required a road closure to allow our teams to safely complete this work. We are now working with our partners to reinstate the road as soon as possible, and we thank local residents for their understanding.”
