Devon Wildlife Trust are running Trees Hubs around East Devon, where residents can receive a free tree for planting.
A spokesman for Wildlife Trust said: "We’re giving these away at local distribution hubs during winter months where you can collect a free cell grown tree, a planting guide and tree protection. Each hub will have between 200-400 trees to give away and will be run by local volunteers. All trees available are UK native species such as Oak, Rowan and Crab Apple."
Upcoming tree hubs below:
Cranbrook (Saturday 2 December) - 9:30am onwards at Younghayes Centre.
Sidmouth (Saturday 9 December) - 11:00am onwards at Kennaway House.
