Devon County Council is reminding residents in Exmouth that they can continue to park on roads within the town as usual, unless cones and signs are on display stating that parking has been suspended.
A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is in place stopping parking in 29 sections of road within the town, only when signs and cones are in place, from November 27 to early December.
Details of the sections on each road can be found on https://one.network/uk
Cones will be placed the afternoon/evening before works commence the next day. This temporary prohibition of parking is to allow lining works.
The roads included are as follows: Albion Street, Danby Terrace, New North Road, St Andrews Road, Alexandra Terrace, Egremont Road, North Street, Victoria Road, Belvedere Road, Fore Street and Park Lane.
Other roads are Windsor Square, Bicton Street, Halsdon Road, Park Road, Withycombe Road, Carter Avenue, Hartopp Road, Rosebery Road, Woodville Road, Charles Street, Henrietta Road, Salisbury Road, Clarence Road, Lawn Road, South Street, Clinton Square, Leslie Road and Southern Road.
Where cones and signs are not in place stating that there is a TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING the usual restrictions for that road are in force.
