A MET Office warning for heavy rain today (Monday, December 4) has been upgraded to include Exmouth.
People in the seaside town are being warned of possible disruption from downpours throughout the day up until 6pm.
The original yellow weather warning had been issued for many areas of Devon and Somerset.
It has now been extended to cover a larger patch, including Exmouth.
The Met Office is advising people the rain is "likely to cause some disruption to travel".
They are warning people to expect:
- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible;
- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer;
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.
