East Devon Golf Club has raised an impressive £23,768 for Ellen Tinkham School.
On December 18, club captain Julian Turnbull presented a cheque to Wooden Spoon Charity's Devon branch chairman, Roger Heywood.
Mr Turnbull thanked the members, saying: "Thanks for their amazing efforts in raising £23,768."
Wooden Spoon generously decided to provide additional funds, securing a final cheque of £41,268.
The donation was given to the head teacher of Ellen Tinkham School, which supports 240 special needs children.
The funds will be used towards the construction of a much-needed new playground.
