The Exeter-based Met Office predicts that East Devon will see 'wintry flurries' overnight as temperatures are set to drop to -5 tonight.
The weather at the moment in East Devon is "blue skies and plenty of crisp winter sunshine across the rest of the region. Feeling cold in the brisk northerly winds. Maximum temperature of 5 °C".
Tonight the temperatures are set to drop to -5C which the Met Office says "may see some 'wintry flurries' overnight in Devon and Cornwall, perhaps moving up the Bristol Channel later too. A dry and very cold night may bring with it a severe frost in the morning. Minimum overnight temperature will be -5 °C.
"Going into Tuesday, it will be a very frosty start tomorrow, but otherwise a generally dry day with sunny spells and occasional cloudier periods. Still cold but not as bitter as today due to lighter winds. Maximum temperature 6 °C."
