A catering company has said it is "super excited" to become the inhouse caterers at the new home of Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club (BSCC).
Clyst St George based Kenniford Farm Kitchen's partnership with Budleigh Cricket Club is set to continue, as the club moves to its new home, The Holt.
Following a successful stint of providing Sunday roasts in the lead-up to Christmas, the arrangement now has them delivering cricket teas, Friday night training food, weekend lunches, private function catering and hosting seasonal dining events.
BSCC director, Bill Roper, said: "We’re thrilled to be working with Kenniford Farm.
"We’re so lucky to be located near the banks of the Otter with stunning views and this location, coupled with Kenniford’s focus on quality and service and our brand new clubhouse, is part of our vision to be a first class cricket and community venue.
"We look forward to treating players to the best cricket teas in Devon."
Andrew Lewis, who runs Kenniford Farm Kitchen with business partner Andrew Freemantle, added: "We are super excited to be working with the team at 'The Holt Bar & Terrace' at Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club.
"The venue is a landmark building that has been finished to the highest quality and is a real centrepiece making it a fantastic addition to Budleigh Salterton.
"We are looking forward to making 'The Holt' a huge success and the number one choice for food and drink in the local area.
"We look forward to catering for players and members as well as welcoming the public in to try our fantastic local produce cooked to the highest standard."
BSCC Director Andy Drodge said: "After a successful run up to Christmas with them we are pleased to be able to announce that Kenniford will continue to offer food from The Holt at BSCC into 2024.
"We will be working with them to enable a range of offerings, building on the popular Sunday Roasts, to cover provision at private hires as well as regular dining times and food for cricket matches and training."
