Staff, residents, family and friends at Raleigh Manor care home in Exmouth banded together to gather donations of Easter goodies for Exmouth Food Bank.
For several weeks, the holiday treats were collected, ready to brighten up the holiday season for those in need.
This cause holds a deep personal connection for the care home's activities co-ordinator, Kirstie Cobb.
Two years ago, when she reached Exmouth with her two young children, Ms Cobb had to seek help from the local food bank.
She said: "When I called on the Exmouth Food Bank for help, they were so kind.
"It was Easter and the lovely volunteers took me over to choose some Easter eggs for my children so they didn’t miss out.
"It meant a lot to me."
In her new position at Raleigh Manor, Ms Cobb has made it a mission to help those in similar positions to hers.
She added: "When I started working here at Raleigh Manor I always said I would try to give back where possible.
"This Easter treat raiser has been a very meaningful exercise for me and everyone here at Raleigh Manor.
"I know exactly how those receiving will feel."
The Easter gifts were handed over to Exmouth Food Bank by Kirstie Cobb and the Easter bunny, ready to add a touch of joy this holiday season.
Raleigh Manor is part of Barchester Healthcare, which supports over 13,000 residents, providing a range of services across 258 institutions.
