A care home resident's dream to get back in the swimming pool was made a reality.
Carol, a resident at Raleigh Manor care home, expressed her wish to swim again and the staff leapt into action.
They coordinated with the teams at the Cranford Sports Club on Salterton Road to fulfil her dream.
Carol's wish was first revealed during a New Year's wish-making activity, where residents decorated the "wish tree" with their aspirations.
The staff, knowing the significance of the activity to Carol, were thrilled to contribute to this cherished moment.
Gill Pratt, general manager of the home, said: "We believe that every moment is worth cherishing.
"And we are very grateful to the awesome team at Cranford Sports Club who were very accommodating and made Carol feel very welcome."
