Two teenagers have been charged in connection with the death of a 16-year-old Exmouth schoolgirl in an Exeter nightclub.
Lucy Hill, a student at Exmouth Community College, died in December 2022 after taking Ecstasy and collapsing at the Move nightspot on Exeter quay.
At the time police said a number of teenagers may have taken tablets containing unknown substances during the club's 16-18 music night.
Police have now confirmed that two 18-year-old youths have been charged with being concerned with the supply of Ecstasy and the supply of a class A drug.
They are Taylor Rowsell, of Rosebery Road, Exmouth, and James Greaves, of Basset Road, Camborne, Cornwall. They have been bailed to appear before Exeter magistrates next month.
An 18-year-old Exmouth woman who was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug had been given an adult caution for the offence.
No further action is being taken against another 18-year-old Exmouth woman who was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
At the time of Lucy's death a spokesperson from Exmouth Community College said: “Lucy was a kind, considerate, beautiful person. She was very well liked by her peers and the staff who knew her well."
