A care home in Exmouth has raised over £500 for its Care Home Garden Project through a successful sponsored walk.
Exmouth House raised a total of £520 from the event, which took place on May 11.
The home's dedicated team walked nine miles to fund improvements for the residents' outdoor space.
Despite the heat, the walk was a great triumph with participants praising the collective efforts to enhance the lives of those at Exmouth House.
The money will contribute directly to the garden, creating a peaceful and enjoyable area for relaxation and nature appreciation.
Elizabeth Hole, activities lead at Exmouth House, said: "We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved through this sponsored walk.
"Despite the heat, the team remained enthusiastic and determined, knowing that every step was contributing to a worthy cause.
"The funds raised will make a significant difference in creating a beautiful garden space for our residents to enjoy."
The successful sponsored walk emphasised the great community spirit at Exmouth House, and the commitment of the staff to enhance residential life quality.
Donations are still being accepted for the Garden Project.
