The Exeter Chiefs took part in some friendly competition at East Devon Golf Club to celebrate their partnership with Seachange.

They paid a visit to the course, battling the home side golfers in a match to commemorate Seachange's selection as East Devon Golf Club's Charity of the Year.

East Devon triumphed in the end, with club captain Bill Gott adding a dash of thrill to the event by scoring a hole-in-one at the 10th hole during his match against Chiefs player Gareth Steenson.

Notably, the relationship between the Exeter Chiefs and Seachange extends beyond the green.

The Chiefs' foundation generously donated £6,000 in 2019 towards a new Seachange wheelchair accessible van.

Consequently, Seachange could provide over 8,000 disabled passengers with transport to their medical appointments.

Additionally, the Chiefs donated signed kit that will be auctioned at Seachange’s November Ball, which is already a sold-out event.

Employees of Seachange, Sarah and Kate, seized the opportunity to pose alongside Chiefs’ players Stuart Townsend and Ross Vincent.

Men’s captain Richard Bowes said: "This was a great opportunity for East Devon Golf Club to support a fantastic charity that does so much good in our community.

"I am sure the signed kit will raise lots of money for the charity.

"I would like to thank the Chiefs for their participation.

"They were great sports."

The event reinforced the bond between Seachange, East Devon Golf Club and Exeter Chiefs, while raising awareness for the important local charity.
