Here are the candidates currently standing for election in the Exmouth and East Exeter constituency in the July 4 election.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced on Wednesday (May 22), that a General Election will take place on July 4.

Mr Sunak, who has been Prime Minister since October 2022, has called the election after months of speculation about its date.

The deadline for an election was January 2025.

Announcing the election, the Prime Minister on Wednesday said: "The king has granted the dissolution of parliament, and the election will be on July 4."

At the next election, the constituency boundaries are changing which means the Exmouth and East Exeter will form a new constituency. Here are the candidates standing for election.

David Reed - Conservative

Helen Dallimore - Labour

Olly Davey - Green Party

Dan Wilson - Independent

Paul Arnott - Liberal Democrats

Garry Sutherland - Reform UK
