Seachange is encouraging people to join its #WalkAndTalk challenge, coinciding with National Walking Week, running from June 3 to 9.
The challenge involves walking and conversing on any topic related to physical or mental health, with the intention of combining the physical benefits of walking with the emotional support that conversation offers.
Participants are encouraged to share their experiences online using the #WalkAndTalk hashtag.
Seachange is also providing free walks for those looking for friends to get moving with.
Level one-two walks are scheduled for June 3 and 10, while 3-mile health walks will be on June 11 and 25.
The walks aim to provide a practical way to enjoy the East Devon countryside while promoting social interaction and general well-being.
