Socially and environmentally conscious lifestyle brand Lucy & Yak has announced the opening of its ninth store in Exeter.
Located at 7 Exeter High Street, Lucy & Yak’s signature pink-painted store will open to customers on June 28 where people can explore Lucy & Yak’s latest releases and core collections.
Inside, the new store which is accessible from street level will feature a soft and muted colour palette and include three changing rooms and one accessible changing room.
Lucy & Yak’s expansion follows the successful launches of new stores in Bristol, Norwich, Nottingham, Cambridge, Manchester, and Cardiff and their two flagship stores in Brighton.
The company says these nine new stores are part of Lucy & Yak’s ambition to have a greater physical presence across the UK, providing more opportunities for face-to-face interactions with the Yak community.
Each shop also aims to act as a Re:Yak hub, promoting their circularity initiatives including their buyback scheme, whilst serving as a space for customers to recycle, repair or upcycle their clothes.
Co-Founder, Lucy Greenwood said: “We’re so excited to announce the opening of our next shop, in Exeter, our most southerly shop to date! The new space will be another hub for creativity and community, giving us a chance to engage with our customers in person. We plan to continue building our Re:Yak buyback scheme, and upcycling and repair workshops which you’ll be able to browse and book via our website soon. I’ve personally spent a lot of time in Devon, exploring its coastline and hope this opens up further opportunities in the southwest."
