Exmouth Choral Society raised £400 for Exmouth Friends In Need with their 'well-attended' and 'successful concert in May.
Faure and Friends in Need celebrated Faure in his anniversary year, and the collection in aid of Friends in Need raised an impressive £400 for the charity.
Trudi Cotton, from Exmouth Choral Society said: "We are delighted to announce that after our well attended and successful concert in May, celebrating Faure in his anniversary year, the collection in aid of Friends in Need raised an impressive £400.
"We would like to thank our generous and enthusiastic audience and all those who contributed in any way to the concert, especially our Musical Director, Matthew Jeffrey, the organist Timothy Noon and our four soloists from Exeter University Chapel Choir; Michael Graham Katie Shuttleworth, Jessie Woodhouse and Matthew Skaria."
Exmouth Choral Society's next concert will be Mendelssohn’s ‘Elijah’ on Saturday January 25th 2025.
