Devon Air Ambulance was called out to Exmouth earlier today (Tuesday, June 25) after a man was taken ill.
The helicopter launched from Exeter and was spotted in the sky above Orcombe Point on its way to the location further inland.
A spokesperson for Devon Air Ambulance said: "Our Exeter helicopter was tasked to attend an adult male who was reported to have stopped breathing.
"The gentleman was treated at the scene and was escorted to RDEW with our crew in a land ambulance for further treatment."
