A project highlighting the benefits of reusable cloth nappies is under way in Exmouth.
The Real Nappy Project was launched at the Community Hub at Sideshore on Tuesday, June 25, in collaboration with local group Bosom Buddies and Exmouth Town Council. Parents with babies were invited to attend to hear the dual benefits of cloth nappies: cost savings and waste reduction.
The event also offered trial kits containing various types of reusable nappies, liners, and wipes for borrowing.
Another free drop-in session will take place on Tuesday, July 23 between 9.30am and 11.30am at the same location, the Community Hub at Sideshore. The project aims to hold monthly sessions and is considering the introduction of a real nappy hire scheme.
