A traditional village fete was held in Otterton on Sunday, July 21, to raise money for the local church and primary school.
The event - and the fine weather - attracted a good turn-out, with people of all ages attending.
The attractions included a home-made jam stall, a 'human fruit machine', a tug of war, face painting and a tombola.
One of the organisers, Richard Witherby, said the fete came about as a result of Otterton Primary School and St Michael's Church deciding to hold a combined event rather than the separate fundraisers they've held in the past. The proceeds will be split equally between the school and the church.
The event was also supported by The King's Arms pub and Otterton Parish Council.
