The Exmouth Pavilion to offer an array of free music concerts to the public this summer.
Having successfully captivated crowds throughout 10 years of running, the events are held at the Pavilion Gardens on Exmouth Seafront, an area managed by LED Community Leisure Management.
The Pavilion is a charitable trust and prides itself in organising performances throughout the year, featuring an assortment of events as diverse as orchestral concerts, comedians, tribute bands, Christmas pantomime musicals, ballet, household name stars, and touring productions.
Known as a busy tourist destination during the summer, Exmouth's theatre scene becomes rather quiet.
This inspired the free music events, aimed at enticing visitors to the seafront and keeping them coming back.
The open-air concerts, held every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, serve a dual purpose - they encourage support for businesses and provide a platform for bands, tribute acts, and live singers to showcase their talents.
In the relaxed atmosphere of the Pavilion Gardens, visitors are treated to an afternoon rich in musical entertainment.
Various legends, including DJ Rockin’ Lee, ensure to keep the energy high with collections of popular hits from various decades ahead of the main performers taking the stage.
Deck chairs, tables, and seats are made available, with attendees also welcome to bring their own.
Janette Cass, manager of Exmouth Pavilion, said: "We look forward to seeing the seafront thriving with the buzz of activity every Summer, and love playing our part in bringing so much free live entertainment to the Community.
"From a business perspective, the summer holidays can be a quiet time for touring bands and productions, so these free events help us too as the income from the food and beverage sales replaces the ticket revenue.
"That’s why we respectfully ask that only food and drink purchased from Exmouth Pavilion is consumed here.
"We’ve such a great programme planned, now all we need is some good weather!"
Jo Butler of Visit Exmouth, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for visitors to the town to experience live free music in the wonderful gardens of Exmouth Pavilion.
"These music sessions are also a great platform for local bands and singers and showcase the fantastic talent we have in our wonderful seaside town.
"This is a great visitor experience for all the family!”
