Two people had to be freed from their vehicle following a crash involving two vehicles on early on Saturday morning.
The collision happened at around 12:30am on August 17. One fire crew from Exmouth and the police and freed two people who were reported trapped in the car.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools to release the casualties, who were taken into the care of paramedics. Crews made the vehicles and scene safe, and duty of care was left with the police."
An eyewitness at the scene told the Journal: "A police car was completely blocking the road and traffic was being diverted from the scene. Members of Exmouth Community also reported that broken glass from the crash was still seen on Saturday morning. Walkers and dogs were warned."
