A by-election for a new town councillor in the Exmouth town ward will take place next Thursday (September 5).
The notice was published on the Exmouth Town Council website on Wednesday (August 29), A spokesman for Exmouth Town "A poll for the election of a Town Councillor for Exmouth Town (Town Ward) will be held on Thursday 5 September 2024, between 7am and 10pm.
"The number of Town Councillors to be elected is one. The names, home addresses and descriptions of the Candidates remaining validly nominated for election and the names of all persons signing the Candidates nominations are below."
There are two candidates up for election, they are Julie Bennett for The Labour Party and Liberal Democrat Candidate Dianne Conduit
Residents can vote in the following polling stations All Saints Church Hall, Exeter Road, and Exmouth, Baptist Church, 8 Victoria Road, Exmouth.
