Devon and Somerset Fire Service, ambulance, police and the RNLI rescued two women trapped in the mud.
Fire control were called at around 10am on Wednesday (September 11) after reports of a 'unstable surface.' One crew from Exmouth attended.
Fire control received a call to assist the coastguard with a female stuck in the mud on a beach in Exmouth. Police and ambulance were also made aware and attend.
Fire control mobilised several appliances including the technical rescue team and officers to assist
Upon arrival crews established there was two females on a boat that was now stuck on the sand after the tide had gone out.
Crews successfully rescued the two females and left them in the hands of the paramedics.
