One person has been taken to hospital after a 'chemical incident' in Exmouth this morning.
Fire crews from Exmouth, Newton Abbott and Middlemoor (Exeter) were called at around 9am on September 12 after a call from the ambulance service requesting attendance at a chemical leak within a commercial business in Exmouth.
Control mobilised two fire appliances from Exmouth and Middlemoor, an Environment Protection Unit and support appliance from Newton Abbot and two supporting officers.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "Once on scene, crews confirmed they were providing first aid to one person whilst setting up equipment preparing to investigate incident.
