Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club has eight weeks to raise nearly £7,000.
The club needs to raise the money to receive the same amount in match funding from Sport England.
The club has been awarded a conditional grant of £6,750 from Sport England to improve the accessibility and appearance of the club's outside areas.
The grant is conditional on the club raising the same amount within eight weeks.
The raised money will be used to ensure that the outside areas are safe and accessible to all visitors, including those with mobility issues and wheelchair users.
Carolyn Roper, the club's fundraising co-ordinator, said: "Over the season we have seen how unstable many of our customers have found the outside areas to be, and we are keen to rectify this ready for 2025 and make the BSCC experience even better for everyone."
Sport England is responsible for distributing National Lottery and Government money to help people play sports and take part in physical activity.
To meet the criteria of the grant, the club must raise the money via a crowdfunding website where supporters can buy experiences, tickets for events, and vouchers.
People can help by making a donation, purchasing rewards, spreading the word, offering rewards, or running their own fundraiser.
To make a donation, people can contact Carolyn Roper at carolyn.roper@outlook.com or visit the Crowdfunder page.
The club is offering a range of exciting rewards on the site for people to buy, including vouchers and one-off experiences.
Tickets for some club events, like Casino Night on November 9, and the Christmas party night on December 7, will also be available on the site.
People are encouraged to buy early to avoid disappointment as tickets are limited.
The club is also asking people to share the project on their social media pages and tell the world to get behind them.
People can share with their colleagues at work, all their friends, and family.
The more people they reach, the more support they will get.
Businesses or individuals are invited to get involved by donating things they can offer to the club's supporters.
The club will give them a shout-out in return.
The more rewards they have, the more interesting their page will become.
People can also fundraise for the club by running their fundraiser, such as a sponsored activity.
They can use the Contact Project button at the top of the club's page to let them know.
Setting up their page only takes a few minutes, and no bank details are needed.
