A new community food network has launched a series of events.
The Mushroom Exmouth District Community Food Network has organised activities such as the Over a Bowl of Soup food discussion, Bring and Share Supper, and the Saturday Loaf bread-making session.
The next Over a Bowl of Soup discussion will focus on reducing food waste.
The event will take place on Monday, November 7, from 5pm to 6.30pm at the Exmouth Salvation Army Hall.
The discussion will explore the impact of food waste from households, retail, and catering establishments.
Food redistribution projects, such as Community Fridge schemes, will also be discussed.
The organisers aim to find more creative ways of using surplus food.
The event is open to anyone interested in addressing food waste.
